Lakeland Feed & Supply
has a rich history

and deep ties to Montana and Idaho farming communities.

Under the ownership of Mike Pflieger, they have operated as a feed mill and agronomy business for nearly 25 years, manufacturing high-quality, custom-made products for livestock, pets, garden, and farm operations.

In fact, as you pass through Hamilton, you may notice the tallest standing building in the community – a mill that was built in 1919. This mill is key to our manufacturing operations.

A Look Back

1919

Copper King and Irish-American businessman Marcus Daly sold the land where the current Lakeland Feed & Supply location rests in Dillon, Montana.

1919

The new owner of the Hamilton, Montana property built the existing mill – a grain elevator built by Wood Cryp Construction. Later, the top of the elevator was destroyed in a fire and was rebuilt.

1940s

An addition to the Hamilton grain elevator was built.

1970s

The Hamilton flour mill was converted into a feed mill.

1970s

Peavey Company bought the Hamilton mill.

1970s

Dillon local managers purchased the Dillon mill from Peavey Company.

2000

Mike Pflieger purchased the Lake Milling from Bob Lake. As a nod to the prior owner, Mike named the operation Lakeland Feed & Supply.
